'Baksh dijiye,' says Abhishek Bachchan when asked to make an appearance on Neha Dhupia's chat show

Abhishek Bachchan who recently recovered from the novel coronavirus has been asking people of the country to stay safe and not venture out and instead stay home. With the staggering cases of COVID-19 in the country, the actor has been growing worried about the safety of the masses. The actor has now yet again grabbed headlines, however, for a different reason. It so happened that the fans of the Bunty Aur Babli actor had requested Neha Dhupia to invite the jovial actor on her podcast show, No Filter With Neha. But Abhishek Bachchan refused to make an appearance. Wonder why? keep reading...

A Twitter user had tweeted to Neha saying, "@NehaDhupia Please please bring @juniorbachchan on #NoFilterNeha He’s one of the wittiest celebrities and would love to hear him." The Ek Chalis Ki Last Local actress was more than eager and sent an e-invite to the actor in her tweet while replying to the fan. "I would love that ... and on now on popular demand ... @juniorbachchan have invited you personally now inviting you publicly #nofilterneha," Neha's reply read.

However, Bachchan junior does not want to be a part of the show and said, "Wit and ‘no filter’ are two separate things. baksh dijiye (please spare me)." For those not in the know, the show is known for the host making the guest reveal secrets about their personal and professional life. It has a hilarious take to it yet, sometimes, the revelations are quite shocking. Have a look at their tweets here:

On the work front, Abhishek was recently seen in a web series, Breathe: Into The Shadows. It also starred Amit Sadh and Nithya Menen to name a few. The series earned a positive response from the audience and critics as well. He has Ludo, Anurag Basu's dark anthology film in the pipeline which also stars Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Rohit Suresh Saraf, Pearle Maaney and Asha Negi. He also has The Big Bull which will be an OTT release. Apart from these two the actor also has Bob Biswas, a spin-off of a character from Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani. Apart from Bachchan, the film will also star Chitrangda Singh and Amar Upadhyay in the key roles.
