On September 13, 2020, Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram handle and shared a mesmerisingly beautiful picture of herself while standing on the shores. In the picture, the actress can be seen looking at her baby bump with a beautiful smile on her face, and in her white top, she looks nothing less than an angel. Along with this stunning picture, Anushka wrote a few lines revealing the sort of emotions she's feeling at the moment in the caption, and it can be read as "Nothing is more real & humbling than experiencing the creation of life in you. When this is not in your control, then really what is?" The doting husband, Virat Kohli also dropped a beautiful comment on his wifey's picture and it can be read as "My whole world in one picture." For the last two-and-a-half-years of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's married life, the lovebirds had given several clarifications about their pregnancy rumours time and again. However, finally, on August 27, 2020, the two had announced the much-awaited news of their pregnancy. Announcing the news of Anushka's pregnancy, the couple had shared the first picture of parents-to-be where the actress had flaunted her cute baby bump. The couple had revealed that junior Sharma-Kohli would arrive in 2021. Anushka and Virat had shared the same picture and had captioned it as "And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021." Take a look:
In an interview to RCB Bold Diaries, on the YouTube channel of the IPL team, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli had revealed his and Anushka Sharma's reaction when they had found out about her pregnancy and his emotions on becoming a father. Virat had expressed, "It is an incredible feeling. It puts things into perspective for you. It is a beautiful feeling. It isn't easy to describe how you feel, but when we found it, we were over the moon. When we announced, the kind of love that was showered on us, it was amazing. People were genuinely so emotional and happy for us. We are looking forward to the third member joining the clan."
The couple had managed to keep their pregnancy a secret from the media for such a long time, and a family friend of the couple had answered the same in an interview with the ETimes. The source had said, "This pregnancy is easily the best-kept secret to come out of Bollywood in a really long time. The immediate families knew of it, but they had to swear to secrecy and ensure that no one out of their group got a whiff of it."
