Jadon Sancho has been linked with a move to join Manchester United since last season, but his club Borussia Dortmund are not interested in selling the Englishman.

According to the report by Daily Star, the Red Devils are now turning their attention to out-of-favour Real Madrid star Bale who is free to leave the Spanish capital.

Real are reportedly so desperate to offload the 31-year-old and they could agree to pay half of his £600,000-a-week wages to force through a move.

Bale made only 14 starts for Real Madrid last season and the Welshman was also left out of the squad for the last six games of the term by Zidane.

There are reports that his former club Totteham may also be making a move to sign him.
