New Delhi: In a significant development, Ram Temple Teerth Kshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai, on Monday said that nobody can stop Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray from visiting Ayodhya. Rai’s statement comes after Akhara Parishad, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and some Ayodhya seers announced their support for actor Kangana Ranaut and declared that the Shiv Sena chief "is no more welcome in Ayodhya".

While rejecting the opposition by saints in Ayodhya, who claimed Uddhav will not be allowed entry in Ayodhya after 'illegal' structures of Kangana's bungalow was demolished by the Shiv Sena-controlled b the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the Ram Temple trust official said, "Kisi ki maa ne dhoodh pilaya hai ki Uddhav ko rok sake (dare anyone who can stop Uddhav)."

Throwing his weight behind the Bollywood actress, Hanuman Garhi temple priest Mahant Raju Das had criticised Thackeray saying, "The Maharashtra government acted without wasting any time against the actress. But the same government is yet to take action against the killers of two seers in Palghar."

The Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP) also slammed the Thackeray government and termed Kangana as a 'brave and courageous daughter' of the nation. The ABAP claimed that the national award-winning actress' statements against the Bollywood biggies and drug mafia caused ripples.

"The fearless voice of the actress against the domination of a particular community in Bollywood and drug mafia has caused ripples. This has scared the drug mafia while the state government is feeling threatened of being uprooted," said Akhara Parishad president Mahant Narendra Giri.

"This is the reason why the Uddhav Thackeray government has demolished Kangana Ranaut's office to intimidate her," he said.

Kangana Ranaut slams Uddhav Thackeray

The Bollywood actress had recently ruffled feathers with the ruling Shiv Sena over her remarks where she compared Mumbai to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Kangana had also said that she felt unsafe in Mumbai and has no trust in the Mumbai Police after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

The BMC on September 9 demolished 'illegal' portions of Kangana's bungalow, following which the actress came down heavily on the Maharashtra chief minister.

Venting out her anger against the Sena supremo on Twitter, she said: “‘Uddhav Thackeray…aaj mera ghar toota hai, kal tera ghamand tootega.”

Later, a complaint was filed against Kangana Ranaut for her remarks against the Thackeray.
