Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh named in drug case: NCB denies preparing 'Bollywood list' after Rhea Chakraborty's statement

According to a Times Now report, Rhea had named Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and designer Simone Khambatta as those who have consumed narcotics substance. However refuting these claims, Free Press Journal quoted NCB deputy director KPS Malhotra, who stated that they have not yet prepared any Bollywood list. He also stated that the earlier prepared list was of peddlers and traffickers, which is getting confused with Bollywood.

Earlier reports suggested that Rhea had provided the NCB with names of several actors, directors and producers from Bollywood, who have alleged links with drug peddlers. Rhea had named around 25 A-list Bollywood celebrities, for indulging in procurement, consumption and peddling of drugs and the NCB is set to summon them.

Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB last week, as they probe the drug abuse angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. A special court in Mumbai on Friday had rejected the bail pleas of Rhea and her brother Showik. The siblings are expected to approach the High Court today for bail. For now, Rhea is in judicial custody till September 22 and is lodged at the Byculla Jail. The drugs angle was unearthed after the Enforcement Directorate, who is probing the money laundering angle, reportedly shared chat records of Rhea with the NCB after they found a mention of drugs.
