The Walking Dead actress who played the show’s first-ever zombie has teased her return for the series finale.
Addy Miller only had a short role in the post-apocalyptic saga, but she sure made one heck of an impact as Summer the Teddy Bear Girl Walker.
She appeared in the opening scene and was the first zombie Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) both came across and killed after he woke up from a coma in an Atlanta hospital.
But will she be making a comeback to the series before it comes to a definite end after an extended season 11?
When news broke that the cult phenomenon would finally be hanging up its boots in 2022, Addy took to social media with the iconic phrased: ‘I’m not crying, u are [sic].’
Fans then flocked to the comments where they paid tribute to the show, and praised the star on her unforgettable performance.
Alongside a string of crying face emojis, one wrote: ‘And you were there at the beginning.’
This prompted Addy to retweet the message, where she added: ‘Okay but imagine if I got to also be the end.’
Is there something she’s not telling us?
‘Imagine a similar scene to the first, but replace Rick with Judith,’ a fan suggested at how the star could reprise her role.
Someone else wrote: ‘That would be epic. I’m hoping they realise this and have you do this. Maybe the last zombie shown on the main show.’
Others thought she could be a Whisperer – explaining why Rick’s group have been followed right up until this point, while one follower said: ‘You could play the older version of Gracie.’
Addy recently celebrated 10 years of working on the show where she appeared in the episode, Days Gone By.
‘I am beyond lucky and thankful for everything this show has brought me,’ she said on Instagram at the time. ‘I love #TWDFamily and the community built around this show @WalkingDead_AMC @TheWalkingDead.’
The Walking Dead season 10 will continues on AMC and NOW TV October 4.
