Irish owned Folkster is set to reopen a three-storey pop-up shop in Dundrum Town Centre next month.
The fashion retailer will be located where Urban Outfitters used to be, kicking off with a private bridal sale between October 3 to 4.
The Irish brand, owned by designer and buyer Blanaid Hennessy, will then officially open on October 8, featuring Irish design and vintage-inspired looks for every occasion.
Folkster currently has branches in Kilkenny and Dublin City Centre and is a popular destination for day and evening wear, much of which is designed here in Ireland.
The three-storey pop-up is Folkster’s largest venture and will include:
- A dedicated Christmas and gift floor
- The Folkster Gown Room with bridesmaid collection
- Self-care and homewear collections
- Their latest party and daywear collections
- A street-style vintage collection
- Fittings rooms with a spacious lounge area
- Personal stylist for the ultimate VIP experience
- Toys, books, and gift boxes for little ones
Two floors of clothing, gifts and Christmas decor will be open seven days a week to walk-in customers.
Blanaid Hennessy said: “We are thrilled to be returning to Dundrum Town Centre for our Christmas superstore. We feel fortunate and excited to be creating a magical store for our customers, filled to the brim with Folkster's Winter fashion, home, gifts, and toys.”
Don Nugent, Centre Director at Dundrum, said: “Folkster is a wonderful Irish brand with fantastic products that we know our consumers love. We are delighted to have the Folkster team back to Dundrum Town Centre this Christmas.”
