83 COVID-19 cases reported bringing total number to 3,015 with 24 deaths

YANGON----The number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar has reached 3,015 after 83 more people were infected with the virus in the second batch testing for September 13th and four died, the Ministry of Health and Sports reported this morning.

In the second batch for September 13th, 2,244 samples were tested---1,441 by the National Health Laboratory (Yangon), 287 by the Public Health Laboratory (Mandalay), 15 by Pathein People’s Hospital, 28 by Nay Pyi Taw People’s Hospital (1,000-bed) and 473 by No.1 Military Hospital (1,000-bed). Among them, 83 new cases were reported bringing the total number to 3,015.

In the first batch for September 13th, 136 cases were reported so the whole day saw 219 cases.

Myanmar has so far seen 3,105 COVID-19 cases and 24 deaths.
