Love Island USA's Jeremiah and James bid tearful farewell after being dumped

Love Island USA's contestants and fans alike were in tears this evening as fan favourites Jeremiah and James were dumped.

Following a brutal recoupling which saw the two fellas ditched, their new pals began to shed tears as the boys packed their suitcases.

Arielle Vandenberg was back on hosting duties, gathering the Islanders around the firepit and telling them to make their decisions.

Jeremiah, who had been coupled up with Rachel, stood stoically as she recoupled with Caleb.

This followed on from an earlier conversation in which he'd told her he felt there was no longer a "spark" between them.

James, meanwhile, had poured his heart out to Moira - only to see her choose Calvin.

After the recoupling was done and the boys' fate was sealed, Jeremiah graciously took the opportunity to wish all the others the best for their futures together.

Despite tears welling in his eyes, he managed to thank the others for the experience they'd given him.

Fans were just as distraught to see the two go.

"Omg she sent James home!" one blubbed.

"Feel really sorry for James," a second tweeted.

Others shared Jeremiah's name beside a string of crying emojis.

"I'm so sad Jeremiah is going home," another remarked.
