Jose Mourinho who is the handler of Premier League side Tottenham has angrily slammed his players branding them lazy following their defeat against Everton on Sunday, September 13.
After their failure to finish among the top four last season in the Premier League, Spurs chiefs gave Jose Mourinho and his wards the mandate to soar this term in English topflight.
But they have started the campaign on a disappointing note losing against Everton who will have Dominic Calvert-Lewin for scoring the winner in the 55th minute.
Tottenham started the encounter on an impressive note with the likes of Lucas Moura and Harry Kane losing great chances in the first half.
Jose Mourinho who has never lost his first game of the season in his career explained that his players disappointed him against Everton.
''Some players didn't even have a pre-season. Some players had a wrong state of mind. I did not like my team today.
''We did not have the physical condition, we had no intensity. Harry Kane has trained with us once. Moussa Sissoko just twice. For different reasons, players have not been able to train.
''We had cases of positive coronavirus tests, we had other players who had to quarantine, other players away with the national team,'' Mourinho explained according to Daily Mail.
