WATCH: Ugly scenes as Ballymun and Kilmacud brawl in semi final

by

Ballymun Kickhams and Kilmacud Crokes were involved in a belter of a Dublin SFC semi final this afternoon.

Both sides had eased through to this stage without major incident.

But Kickhams in particular will be in trouble after a late brawl.

Davy Byrne and Leon Young were both red-carded by the referee, meaning they will miss the final against Ballyboden St Enda's.

Punches were thrown and there was a visible attempt at an eye gouge during the ugly scenes.

Fans were not impressed on social media.

Kickhams ran out three point winners on a score of 1-18  to 2-12.

Reigning champions Ballyboden were awaiting the winners after they saw off St Jude's yesterday.

The GAA will need to decide on the punishment for Young and Byrne, as well as any further action to be taken against any other players.
