Leaked Motorola Moto E7 Plus materials confirm more details about upcoming €149 entry-level smartphone

The Motorola Moto E7 Plus has been leaked again, this time by Roland Quandt and WinFuture. Evan Blass published renders and details of the device last month, upon which we reported. Quandt and WinFuture have expanded upon the details provided by Blass, although there is still no word on a release date for the entry-level handset.

According to the latest leak, the Moto E7 Plus has a 6.5-inch IPS panel that Motorola will market as a Max Vision display. The screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels. Underpinning the Moto E7 Plus is a 5,000 mAh battery that recharges at up to 10 W over micro USB. Also onboard is a Snapdragon 460 chipset, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

As Blass demonstrated last month, the Moto E7 Plus will have a 48 MP primary rear-facing camera. This has an f/1.7 aperture and is complemented by a 2 MP depth of field sensor. We expect that the latter camera will only supplement the main one and will not be capable of capturing images itself. Quandt and WinFuture claim that Motorola has included an 8 MP front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture, too.

Additionally, the Moto E7 Plus has a microSD card slot, along with dual-SIM connectivity. There is a capacitive fingerprint scanner mounted on the device's back panel, too. The Moto E7 Plus also has three physical buttons. We expect that Motorola has included a dedicated Google Assistant button alongside the standard power and volume buttons.

The Motorola Moto E7 Plus should launch in multiple markets. Quandt and WinFuture expect Motorola to price the handset at €149 including VAT in Europe. Last month's Moto E7 Plus leak suggested that the device would be available in at least two colours though, including the blue one displayed by Quandt and WinFuture.
