Red Bull Racing makes fastest pit stop again at GP Tuscany

by

The Red Bull Racing team has a golden reputation when it comes to making pit stops and yesterday the team once again proved its worth. Red Bull can once again receive the DHL prize for the fastest pit stop in the race.

Where Williams used to be the untouchable champion in making lightning-fast pit stops, Red Bull Racing has taken that title over the past few seasons. The guys in the Red Bull garage are consistently the fastest there and make remarkably few mistakes for their speed.

At the Tuscany Grand Prix it was again a success for the team. According to DHL Motorsports, Alexander Albon's tires were the fastest to change in just 2.02 seconds. Mercedes again ranks second with a time of 2.27 seconds for Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari closes the top three with a 2.4 second pit stop for Sebastian Vettel.

Red Bull first in the standings

With the performance achieved at the Mugello circuit, Red Bull Racing goes even further ahead at the top of DHL's annual rankings. The team of Albon and Max Verstappen now stands at 250 points, followed by Mercedes at 161 points and Williams at 127 points. The team of Haas is last in the standings, with only one point.
