I decided to look at the designs that had dislikes, and this design clearly does not deserve a negative value.

The author has followed MD3 recommendations and the kit provided. The design invites ease and simplicity to the app.

I'd highlight these things:
- Small, comprehensive chats
- Colour choice for both navigation bars in the chat list
- A new send icon
- Action buttons and the colours
- A quartette of buttons in settings

Some suggestions:
- I would make the lock button green(secret chats)
- Remove your own profile picture from your own messages, they take up some space.
- Remove rectangles for each settings: instead, group them and add the main rectangle. Otherwise it takes up lots of space.
- I would put pfp instead of settings icon(personal)

Overall, it is clear that the designer has completed the task, offering a good-looking design. Chats sort of remind me Gmail app.
