Have you tried making pixels larger? I think those were 32x32 and yours look like maybe 50? Great idea btw and nice bg color

Great point, the original used a 32x32 grid, but I worked with 56x56 because I didn't want to increase the pixel size. I think canonical 32 pixels would look better for smaller icon resolutions, unfortunately I didn't have time to test it :(
