It's a rather common design many icon creators tend to do so I though I would give my take on it. I have seen a few iterations on it so far in the contest. It would have been impossible for someone to copy another contestant as entries very submitted before anyone was allowed to post their demo image.

Very nice icons! I really like the VHS one more than my Retrowave icon. Though, I think RetroUI will be hard to see on lower DPIs.

Thanks, I really like your gameboy icon. I'm a sucker for pixel art things. Fair point about the RetroUI icon. I assumed most devices nowdays come with pretty high ppi so detail *should* be mostly readable haha.
