Hiding charts while scaling results in unexpected behavior:
- chart is rendered incorectly
- overlapping axes

It’s Auto layout small lags. One way is move to manual layout.
Mighty Whale Apr 18, 2019 at 13:47
If tap twice on bar chart there would be two lines.

Graphs do not persist their state on table view scroll. If you select some range or zoom into graph, then scroll the table view and go back, the graph is completely reset

It is very hard (impossible?) to set the tooltip on the last point because of the bouncing and finger touch feedback. In the video i managed to put my finger on the last date, but it wasnt the last x point?

X points are way too offset from the date labels

It is fairly easy to render chart unresponsive.

STR:
1. zoom into chart
2. scroll the trimmer while pressing "zoom out"

U can bug the 4th chart to be unusable as well, but in a different way:
1. Hold the trimmer handle while tapping the tooltip
2. Right after tap - move the handle

Result: u can scroll the original graph, while the buttons from the zoomed one are displayed. But as soon as your release the finger, the whole chart will become unresponsive until relaunch.

Dragging the zoomed chart at the right edge and then zooming out while holding the finger results in unresponsiveness as well

Multi-touch not supported in range control selector.

Can't grab and move another side of the selector while first one under the finger.

Yeah, it wasn't any requirements about it, but iPhone was built with multitouch support from the ground and this issue looks not user friendly and wierd.

I implemented pinch to zoom gesture on chart area but not have enough time to fully test it. So I decide to remove this feature from release
Charts and dates are loaded after noticeable delay.

— Lower bound values are beyond the X-scale (the attached screenshot #1).
— The slider has small glitch in the night mode (the attached screenshot #2).
— Chart #2 jitters when filtering (the attached video #3).
— The empty box on the pie chart (the attached screenshot #4).
— The app is slow when scrolling and filtering.

You can make the whole application unusable/unresponsive if you repeat the step described above for the first 2-3 charts, depending on your screen size. And here the table view scrolling will not help

Duplicate issue
Cool spring animation of X axis! But y axis scale animation super fast.
iPhone 8/ iOS 12.2
Huge Kiwi Apr 17, 2019 at 20:10
All animations are interactive while tracking. The faster you scroll, the faster the animations.
Animation levels when max value change is inverse.
Huge Kiwi Apr 17, 2019 at 20:13
Maybe I misunderstood this chart. I thought that if you turn off one column, the maximum value will decrease, and the last label will rise.
Hi, great work. I really like check mark animation and bouncing of graphics on the corners. Somehow on Char#3 I faced stack situation while scrolling back and forth. Reproduced it multiply times (but not every time)
P.S. Thanks for providing slow animation mode

Graphs move not smooth when scroll. Also y labels are very strange.
iPhone SE
Huge Kiwi Apr 18, 2019 at 18:50
It’s interactive transition. You hold your finger in the middle of animation and it’a absolutely normal. If you release your finger animation will continue in normal mode.

Huge Kiwi Apr 18, 2019 at 19:48
It’s not fully visible labels. You see it while interactive.
Mighty Whale Apr 18, 2019 at 13:50
Info view hide selected values (mostly in the beginning of chart).
iPhone SE
If your try scroll table view and finger touch hit "select range view", table not scrolling
Huge Kiwi Apr 18, 2019 at 18:52
It’s absolutely normal behavior for control elements. Try to scroll system slider.
When stop you finger on scroll change, Y labels are stopped to in intermediate position. Lags on every charts on iPhone 5s.
iPhone 5s, 12.2
Huge Kiwi Apr 18, 2019 at 18:48
It’s interactive transitions. Animation progress follows your finger.
Perfect Sheep Apr 18, 2019 at 15:16
The trimmer doesnt allow the user to trim to min range and stay there, if you keep minifying the range the trimmer area will start scrolling in this direction. Thus it is not a trivial task to scale the chart to a smallest range.
iphone 6 12.1.4
Huge Kiwi Apr 18, 2019 at 18:54
It’s a feature that allows user not to stuck in the lowest scales.
Perfect Sheep Apr 18, 2019 at 15:23
Going to landscape mode on the zoomed in chart removes the zoom out button from the screen. Now its not possible to go back (unless you scroll the tableview to reload the cell)

48 fps during bar chart scaling on iPhone 6+. Not bad. For more details read my comments about performance of entry213.
Major issue: dates are updated on certain positions only. Not only the UX is suffering, but also it gives this contestant a major advantage in performance over other participants.
iPhone 6+, iOS 11.2
Major issue: can't drag your finger to select another date. Always have to tap
